7. If you PS5 doesn’t support 4K@120Hz, follow: (1). HDMI 2.1 connection via the source HDMI cable. (2). From the PS5’s home screen, head to ‘Settings’ – Select ‘Screen and Video’ and go to ‘Video Output’. You can then select whether to enable or disable 120Hz output under ‘Enable 120Hz Output’. You can double check your PS5 is capable of outputting 120Hz in the Video Output Information. Under ‘Information for the connected HDMI device’ you should see 120Hz showing up in the list of supported refresh rates. (3). Some games, like COD: Black Ops Cold War, will require you to set your PS5 to “performance mode” in your PS5 system preferences. Once done, that’ll allow you to access 120Hz support.
