How to use the I3C laptop cable lock?

For Laptops with Standard Security Slots

Simply insert the lock head into the slot and wind the cable around the fixed object.

For Those without Standard Security Slots

There is an anchor plate (a metal patch) with a strong adhesive that can be easily attached to the solid surface.

Anchor Plate Instructions

The anchor plate is glued to the hard surface of the device. Then the lock is inserted into the anchor plate with a key.

Fixed Method

You need to find a solid that does not move easily and wrap one end of the cable around a fixed object.

The industrial-grade 3M adhesive ensures strong adhesion for the I3C anchor plate. Clean the hardware surface with a cotton cloth, then firmly press and hold the anchor plate for 1 minute. After 24-48 hours, it can support weights exceeding 60lb. The longer it sets, the stronger the bond becomes.

How to remove I3C Anchor plate?

To remove the anchor plate, heat the sticker using a hair dryer and gently pry it off with a hard tool. It leaves no residue. If you have any other effective removal methods, please share them with everyone!
