Yes, PetLac liquid may be frozen, in a separate container such as an ice cube tray, for up to 6 weeks.

The formula looks clumpy or smells like spoiled milk, is it safe for use?

No. Milk Replacers are perishable products that are high in fat and protein that have a live probiotic included as well. If a formula appears spoiled in any way, it should NEVER be fed to an animal.

Why should the liquid be discarded after 72 hours?

We advise against storing open liquid milk replacer in the fridge for more than 72 hours to prevent bacterial growth from air exposure. A young animal’s immune and digestive systems are sensitive, so always use fresh formula for their safety.

PUPPY MILK REPLACEMENT – PetLac puppy milk replacement powder provides complete nutrition for proper growth and development for puppies, newborn to six weeks old.
COMPLETE, BALANCED NUTRITION – As a food source for orphaned, rejected, nursing, or weaning puppies, this formula provides vitamins, minerals & amino acids. It also supplies extra nutrition for thin or older dogs.
EASY TO DIGEST – PetLac is highly palatable and contains prebiotics and probiotics for easy digestion and improved gut health.
DIRECTIONS – Mix one tablespoon powder with two tablespoons warm water to make approximately 2-1/3 tablespoons (7 teaspoons/35mL) of liquid. Opened powder can be refrigerated for up to 3 months, or can be frozen for up to 6 months.
